About Moutrey’s
We opened Moutrey’s Restaurant in Whitby in November 2003 and were incredibly busy, with wonderful customers, from the first night. Our goal is to make every single person that walks through our door happy. Simple but true! We strive to make all our dishes totally delicious. Every item on the menu is our own unique recipe – making every meal we serve our speciality. We are a family-friendly restaurant and children are welcome to order a smaller portion of any of the meals on our main menu.
Menu Information
Our menu has a great selection of Italian cuisine, and is designed to make sure there is something for everyone to enjoy. Delicious starters can be followed by comforting pasta bowls, pizza baked in our wood-fired oven, great local meat dishes including steaks, chicken and home-made burgers. Fresh locally caught fish and seafood is available – see our specials boards. Our meals are made from only the finest ingredients, and we always use local produce where possible.
Dietary Requirements
We take all allergens and dietary requirements very seriously and all information is tracked in HUBL for accurate reference. Our chefs will amend all dishes for you to cater for any dietary requirements, even cooking something completely off-menu as long as we have the ingredients. We prefer to discuss your requirements with you in the restaurant, please be sure to mention your allergies or intolerances to your server. If you are a plain eater and require a bespoke dish, we will happily make it for you. Plus, we will also cook anything that you may have enjoyed on a previous visit, that has been on the menu in the past 19 years!
Party Bookings
Moutrey’s is the perfect place for your night out in Whitby, as well as welcoming couples and families, we happily accommodate parties for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, or work nights out. We’ve witnessed marriage proposals, have held christenings, weddings and even a divorce party over the years. We will happily cater for anything you care to celebrate. As we are a small and cosy restaurant and quite popular, larger parties do need to be booked quite some time in advance. We can open on a lunchtime for advanced larger party bookings on request. Please make initial enquiries via email with as much notice as possible.
